01 Where To Start

How I Can Help

Whatever has brought you to seek support, there is space for you here. I work integratively, drawing on CBT, person-centred therapy, and Gestalt therapy to help you understand these responses with compassion, so healing becomes possible.

This might be for you if:

  • Anxiety won't quieten, however hard you try
  • A relationship in your life is struggling
  • You're carrying grief that hasn't found its place yet
  • Past experiences still affect you today

02 Areas I Support

What Brings You Here?

You don't need to arrive with everything clearly defined. These are some of the experiences I commonly support people with.

Anxiety & Overthinking

Do you feel constantly "switched on," stuck in worry, or unable to quiet your mind? Together, we work to understand what your anxiety may be communicating.

Learn More

Panic Attacks & Physical Anxiety

I support you in understanding your body's fear response and reducing the fear around the symptoms themselves.

Learn More

Social Anxiety

Do social situations leave you feeling judged or self-conscious? Together, we explore the fears underneath and build self-trust.

Learn More

Health Anxiety

Constant worry about illness or physical symptoms? We work compassionately to understand what sits beneath this fear.

Learn More

Phobias & Fear-Based Responses

Whether fear relates to driving, flying, medical settings, or specific situations, I work gently at your pace to help you feel less controlled by avoidance.

Learn More

Stress & Burnout

When life feels relentless, we explore the pressures and patterns contributing to burnout and create a more sustainable balance.

Learn More

Low Self-Esteem & Self-Criticism

If you often feel "not good enough," therapy can help you develop a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

Learn More

Emotional Overwhelm

When emotions feel too much to hold alone, I provide a supportive space to help you understand and manage your responses safely.

Learn More

Trauma & Past Experiences

Past experiences can continue to impact how safe and secure you feel. We gently explore how they may still be shaping you today.

Learn More

Relationship Difficulties

Whether struggling with communication, boundaries, attachment, or conflict, therapy can help create healthier and more connected relationships.

Learn More

Addiction, Coping & Emotional Pain

I work compassionately with addiction, focusing on understanding the pain underneath and finding safer, healthier ways to cope.

Learn More

Grief, Loss & Bereavement

Grief comes without a "how to" guide. Together, we create space to understand your loss and find a way of holding on while letting go.

Learn More

Neurodiversity & Self-Understanding

I bring both professional training and lived experience with neurodiversity, helping you see it as part of you, not the whole of you.

Learn More

Suicidal Thoughts & Emotional Crisis

I support people experiencing suicidal thoughts with great care, respect, and non-judgement. You are not alone in this.

03 The Practicalities

How Counselling Works

Initial Assessment (Free)

Your first session is free, in-person, online, or by telephone. This is an opportunity for us to meet and see if we're a good fit.

Flexible Sessions

Sessions are typically 50 minutes, held weekly where possible. Fortnightly sessions can sometimes be arranged.

Face-to-Face

One-to-one counselling at my private counselling facility in St. Mary Hoo, Rochester. This may involve a traditional approach of talking and exploring, or a more creative approach incorporating play therapy, use of materials, sand tray, and psychodrama—tailored to what you need.

Online Counselling

A great way to access counselling without the need to travel, delivered via Zoom (other platforms considered on request). This does not compromise the quality of the face-to-face approach.

Walk and Talk

An in-person approach for those who find traditional face-to-face counselling too invasive, or who feel a connection with nature. Sessions take place in St. Mary Hoo, Rochester, along quiet rural country lanes—appropriate footwear recommended.

Areas of Counselling I Support

You don't need to fit what you're carrying into a neat category. Below are some of the areas I support—so if what's brought you here isn't mentioned above, you may still find it here. And if it isn't listed at all, please reach out anyway; there's likely still a place for you in this work.

Whatever you're carrying, you don't have to name it perfectly to start. We can work out what it is together.
