LGBTQ+ Counselling
A welcoming space to be fully yourself.
LGBTQ+ Counselling
You deserve a therapist who sees the whole of you, without needing your identity explained or justified. Whether you're exploring your sexuality or gender, navigating coming out, dealing with the impact of discrimination, or simply looking for support with something unrelated to your identity altogether, this is an affirming, judgement-free space.
What We Might Explore
- Exploring or making sense of your sexuality or gender identity
- The process of coming out—to yourself, family, friends, or more widely
- The impact of discrimination, rejection, or a lack of acceptance
- Relationships, intimacy, and family dynamics
- Any of the other struggles that bring people to therapy—anxiety, low mood, trauma, or self-worth—without your identity needing to be the focus unless you want it to be
An Affirming Approach
My role is not to hold assumptions about who you should be or how your identity should look. I work integratively, drawing on person-centred and Gestalt approaches, always led by what matters most to you in the room.
On being yourself
The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.
