Clinical Supervision
A safe space for reflective practice and professional growth.
Tracie offers a grounded supervisory space to reflect on client work, professional development and the emotional demands of practice with care, curiosity and clarity.
What is Clinical Supervision?
I believe supervision should feel like a safe, collaborative, and supportive space—somewhere you can bring not only your clinical work, but also yourself as the practitioner behind the work.
Supervision is not about judgement or criticism. It is about growth, reflection, ethical practice, and feeling supported in the often complex and emotionally demanding work of holding others.
Know all the theories, master all the techniques, but as you touch a human soul be just another human soul.Carl Jung
What We Explore in Supervision
No two sessions look the same. Here are some of the threads we might follow together, depending on what you bring.
01 Client Process & Direction
Exploring where your client is in their journey, what's emerging, and how to move the work forward in ways that feel aligned with their needs.
02 Transference & Countertransference
Understanding what's being activated in you as the therapist, and how your own internal world is meeting your client's internal world.
03 Relational Dynamics
Exploring the relationship itself—the patterns, the dance between you and your client, and what that might be communicating.
04 Ethical Considerations
Navigating ethical questions, safeguarding concerns, and ensuring your practice remains grounded in ethical responsibility.
05 Internal Blocks & Stuckness
Working through moments where you feel uncertain, blocked, or overwhelmed. Finding ways forward together.
06 Practitioner Wellbeing
Your self-care, burnout prevention, and professional identity. Building sustainable practice.
07 Growth & Professional Development
Identifying your strengths, growth areas, and how to continue developing confidence and skill.
08 Creative Exploration
Using imagery, metaphor, role play, and embodied work to deepen insight when discussion alone doesn't capture what's happening.

My Approach as a Supervisor
Integrative Practice
My work is informed by an integrative approach, which naturally flows into the way I supervise—exploring not only the client's process, but the therapist's own responses.
Drawing from Multiple Approaches
I draw from CBT, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, person-centred theory, and mindfulness-based approaches.
Accountability & Humanity
Supervision should support both accountability and humanity—safe spaces to acknowledge mistakes, uncertainty, and learning edges without fear of shame.
What You'll Experience
Safe enough to be honest. Supported enough to grow. Challenged in a constructive and compassionate way, with confidence in your own authentic way of working.
